Bush Administration Failure: Iraq

While nearly all of the attention is on the Bush administration’s failed invasion of a sovereign nation, aka Iraq, I was reminded that today also marks the 40th anniversary of the massacre at My Lai.
If Iraq has been a tremendous policy failure, Vietnam was even more so.
Today, I spent several moments at different times wondering if Bill Calley was still selling used cars down in Georgia. Are the chuckleheads still treating him as a hero?
I really don’t care. I’ve long viewed him as being an egotistical and pathological idiot who got away with serial murder. Bill Calley makes OJ Simpson and Jeffrey Dahmer look like a naughty kids on the playground.

I made note of the same juxtaposition of dates a few days ago on my own blog. I couldn’t ignore either.

I am not ignorant on Vietnam but had to look u that name.
